Contemporary
This Gothic Revival house by Bohl Architects showcases the genre’s gabled roofs and lacy ornamentation. The house consists of a series of overlapping planes that do not stick to Wright’s proportionality; rather they are a hybrid of Wright’s planar devices combined with Le Corbusier’s stark, streamlined aesthetic. The property is across the street from Katherine Schwarzenegger's mother, Maria Shriver, the journalist and Kennedy family member, who was previously married to the former governor of California and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
